Meet our Team

We started Compassion Counseling because we truly believe that everyone is different and therefore, everyone needs a safe, compassionate place to belong.

We at Compassion Counseling strive to be that place!

Tammy Ewert, LPC-S

Tammy Ewert has over 14 years of experience as a licensed professional counselor supervisor. Tammy loves people and grew up never meeting a stranger, so studying therapy was a natural fit. She helps her clients, who include children, adults, and families, know there is always hope, no matter how difficult things are currently. Difficulties in life do not define us, and they are not the end; instead, we get to pick up the pen and write the rest of our own story. This office is a safe space where you are given the support, freedom, and tools to do so. There is something transformative about having someone see and hear you, and it is an honor that she never takes lightly. Tammy is currently accepting new clients, so reach out today!

Meredith Price, LPC

For as long as I can remember, I have always had a heart for connecting with people. Having experienced trauma and grief throughout my own life, I knew I wanted to use my personal challenges in some way to bless others. Counseling allows me to empathize with my clients in a profoundly genuine and sincere way while helping them navigate the inevitable stressors of life. My goal as a counselor is to foster the safest environment where my clients feel validated and understood. I truly want every client I serve to recognize their worth and value and will walk alongside each as they work to achieve their best self. I work with teenagers and adults experiencing difficulties such as grief, anxiety, depression, divorce, conflict resolution, and substance abuse. I want to help individuals identify and understand the source of their pain or struggle and assist them in finding solutions that can restore their sense of joy, hopefulness, and peace. My techniques incorporate the power of positive thinking, mindfulness, and utilizing effective coping skills.
